Hollyburn Hockey will be running a spring 3-on-3 hockey league. Played on the small ice, the 3-on-3 league is a lot of fun and a great way for players to develop fundamental skills and creativity. Each player is guaranteed at least 8 games and this is a great opportunity to play with friends that you may not have had a chance to play with during the regular hockey season.
Sessions will run from April 5th to June 7th (Excluding Easter and Victoria Day long Weekend)

Members: $140 +GST
Members please use your 5-digit member number in the spring 3 on 3 registration process. Members should not need to use their credit cards to complete payment and registration. 3 on 3 registration will appear on members' March statements.

Non-Members: $175 +GST
Non-members must complete the online registration and successfully complete payment (either credit card or Interac - if accepted). Incomplete registrations without successful payment will be deleted and those spots unfortunately cannot be held.
TEAM BALANCING: In the registration process, players may request one or two friends with whom they'd like to play with. If those requests are reciprocated by the other players, Hollyburn Hockey will try to accommodate friend requests; however, teams will be arranged on the basis that each team will be competitive. The requests won't be honored if requests aren't reciprocated or if more than two names are listed.
An email will be sent from the hockey office the week of March 23rd, 2020 confirming rosters and game times.

ICE DOGS PROGRAM INFORMATION ANNOUNCED

The Ice Dogs program at Hollyburn provides all players with a challenging and enjoyable program with a focus on delivering a great spring hockey experience while fine-tuning one's skills.

In 2018, the Ice Dogs Spring Development program focused on individual skill development, creating intensity, and having fun. The success of the program was evident in the Fall of 2018 during rep tryouts and again in September 2019 with the strength of our younger.

As we continue to improve the program, we have added two KEY elements:
* 2012, 2013, 2014 Ice Dogs teams will have two skills sessions (practices) per week along with entry in the Hollyburn Sunday 3-on-3 League. All practice and games will be at Hollyburn;

* The 2009 and U9 (2010/2011) Ice Dogs teams will have three sessions per week as well. Built into the program is a weekly POWER EDGE PRO session. If you wish to find out more about Power Edge Pro ("PEP") please visit www.poweredgepro.com or www.youtube.com/user/PowerEdgePro/videos to see for yourself how players working toward becoming elite players train.

* Power Edge Pro also gives goalies a competitive edge. Many of the drills have been developed with input from NHL Goalie Consultants. PEP allows goalies to face shots similar to game-like situations. Goalies need to become comfortable with how elite players train and shoot to maximize their chances of success in games.

The Ice Dogs program will provide premium ice times while delivering a first-class experience and development opportunity.

The Ice Dogs program will begin the week of March 30th.

Ice Dogs Registration will be live Thursday, February 6 at 9:00am

Multiple teams within a birth year may run based on demand OR players may be moved up or down a division based on skill and ability. Should higher level teams require affiliates for games or practices, we will look to provide those additional development opportunities to our players.

Registration will include: coaching and skill development, tournament and/or league entry fees, great ice times, jerseys and socks.

The Ice Dogs Spring Program is open to players of all levels from all neighboring minor hockey programs. Please feel free to forward this information to your child’s friends and teammates.

Don’t miss this opportunity to be a part of the Ice Dogs Spring Program at Hollyburn Country Club. To be placed on our notification list once registration information is available or for any other inquiries, please contact Hollyburn Hockey at hockey@hollyburn.org or by phone at 604.913.4523.
